Our Journey So Far

Hello Hopers!

Table of Hope has been going strong for a year now, and with the launch of blogs on our website, we wanted to bring you all up to date on everything we have accomplished so far!

Table of Hope was founded at the start of 2025 by Aten and Niseem. Born out of a shared love for cooking, the organization was founded with one goal in mind: to provide home-cooked, tasty meals to those in need. They began cooking about 20 meals each Saturday morning. They would hand them out to people in need in the Dallas area. From there, they made social media pages, the website, and business cards, and began their outreach mission.

As community awareness grew, donations began to pour in. This allowed us to cook more meals per drive, host drives more consistently, and grow our team with passionate new members.

However, relying solely on a single home kitchen limited how much we could produce each drive. Once summer ended, we overcame this hurdle by adding more members to the team and having the people at each drive prepare about 30-35 meals at their own homes. From there, they would all meet up at one house and pack the food to make about 100 meals each drive.

As Table of Hope continued to grow, so did our audience. Our social media following increased, donations continued to rise, and we were able to serve more meals to more people with each drive.

Our most successful month was November 2025, during Thanksgiving Break, when we served over 300 meals in a week.

Plus, during Thanksgiving week, we met with several organizations and partnered with them to distribute meals!

As of now, we've served over 1000 meals! With many more food drives ahead and more volunteers joining us along the way, we’re excited for what’s to come and grateful to continue doing what we love for those who need it most.
